I filed my tax returns twice from Diwakar Taxes - 2013 and 2014 under F1 and H1 - First Year Residency respectively. My returns were explained to me before filing and they were very patient to answer our other concerns. In my first year, I had asked some other tax consultant to do my taxes and It showed up that I had to pay for New York Taxes. I did not file however and consulted Mr. Diwakar who actually got me a return from New York state. We chatted for some time after the returns were filed and after knowing that I would be on H1 next year, he explained me the benefit of First Year Residency. I received my returns correctly in 2013 and I returned for 2014.
I promptly received my returns in 2014 as well. I filed late both times and they took care of the situation and the amount was exact as mentioned in filed tax returns.

Have been getting my Taxes done at Diwakars' since my F1 days in 2013 and now. 3 years here, and Amit Kumar has been doing a pretty decent job, be it OPT or amendments or ITINs. These guys really do care about getting as much tax returns as possible in a lawful way of course. They charge very reasonable too.

These guys are well organized and amazing. They will answer all your queries and the service is totally worth money. I am F1 student and my tax was complicated as it involved multiple states and various stocks transactions from multiple brokers.
